Dear Dad,

I do not take pride in what I am standing now; I never thought I am among the top; I know I have a lot to learn. Therefore, I will never get really frustrated （挫败的、失意的、泄气的）when I took a beating nor when big defeat comes.

This is my philosophy of living（人生哲学）. A striving （刻苦的） heart to learn and a love for perfection（完美）, which comes from you; and an understanding that I am not the best and I have a long way to go, which comes from my path of education（受教育之径）.

Dad, I know you are the top. But if you also feel strongly about this, you will get hurt when you come to difficulties. So please, be subject to God（受上帝的管制）and keep a humble mind（谦逊的心）.
